iptrace vs tcpdump

Hi,

I need to perform some network analysis (on AIX 5.2 and 5.3) using
either iptrace or tcpdump. Anyone know which of these two utilities
have the best performance in terms of not missing (i.e. dropping
promiscuous mode sniffed packets) network packets?

They're both fine - that's not the choice. If you already know tcpdump
use that. Otherwise use iptrace because it is supported by the vendor.
